Musings Of A Thinker
What is a meaningful life? What is the meaning of life? What is the meaning in life? All three questions constantly asked and all three so very different from each other.
There comes a time in a person's life where every single repressed emotion, feeling, thought, idea, and other mumbo-jumbo eventually erupts and...
It starts, the nagging feeling of where and how do I belong in this world we are living in, this world we call "life" and "reality." Some people say meaning comes from the existence of God, the belief of and in God. In that belief will life have meaning. How true is that? What if we do not believe in God or gods? What then?
Then, meaning comes from engaging in productive and intellectual pursuits that carry objective value. Starting a shelter for homeless people, read 100 books every year, travel the world from one end to the other, engage in discussions and debates about issues and topics, etc. Doing something that is engaging, worthwhile and importantly one loves can make life meaningful.

Directed by Richard Robbins, the film illustrates the lives of 9 young girls who face inequality and social constraints but strive for an education that can help break down the barriers built around them. Watch the film and take part in the movement for education for girls in countries where they are oppressed and hidden from society. It is a global movement and one where people need to participate in the discussions and educate themselves with the issue surrounding around 66 million girls in the world.
