There comes a time in a person's life where every single repressed emotion, feeling, thought, idea, and other mumbo-jumbo eventually erupts and...

It starts, the nagging feeling of where and how do I belong in this world we are living in, this world we call "life" and "reality." Some people say meaning comes from the existence of God, the belief of and in God. In that belief will life have meaning. How true is that? What if we do not believe in God or gods? What then?

Then, meaning comes from engaging in productive and intellectual pursuits that carry objective value. Starting a shelter for homeless people, read 100 books every year, travel the world from one end to the other, engage in discussions and debates about issues and topics, etc. Doing something that is engaging, worthwhile and importantly one loves can make life meaningful.

So Lost, So Lost

Why do I feel lost? Why do I feel like I do not know what to do? Where I want to go ? Who I am? 

The past year and even now, it seems as if the whole world is crashing down on me. As if the marble slab of stone perched precariously atop the Corinthian column came tumbling down...As if an island popped out of the sea-blue waters in front of you...As if new sprouts of grass are growing in the desolate desert? I thought I was so sure of what I wanted to do, what I sought out to do, but then it, they, you, life, something happened and I am lost.

Before I wrote about who am I?, and today (in this moment) I am still no closer than figuring out who I am. How long until I find myself? Or maybe how long until I see and acknowledge myself?

We'll see...
