Exquisitely Enchanting Snowfall in the City

The night is darkening round me,
The wild winds coldly blow;
But a tyrant spell has bound me
And I cannot, cannot go.

The giant trees are bending
Their bare boughs weighed with snow.
And the storm is fast descending,
And yet I cannot go.

Clouds beyond clouds above me,
Wastes beyond wastes below;
But nothing dear can move me;
I will not, cannot go.

Crystalline Snow in NYC

Spent the day with family---enjoying the aftermath of a blizzard in the city.

"I'm Coming Home..."

The song by P. Diddy made me realize something...something I never really took a notice of until that moment, sitting in the backseat with my oversized checkered bag on my lap and looking out the frosted glass of the car onto the city skyline, that somehow (one way or another...without my noticing of it) NYC became something of "Home".

So, "I'm coming home..." and I remember a friend of mine once said "Home is where your heart is" or maybe in my case where the mind is at that moment in time.
